AMANDA NOLLAR

Vancouver, Washington . . . ah, SO much we didn't get a chance to see or do while there to see you!  You & your mom were great, and kept it light-hearted and fun.  We appreciate you bringing her along, and even respectfully calling the day before to make sure it was cool.  By the way, we DID go to B.J.'s for the food directly after the interview!  YUM & THANK YOU!

AGE:  20

LOCATION:  Vancouver, Washington

WORK/SCHOOL:  I neither have a job, nor go to school at the moment.  I am currently a stay at home mom, seeking employment.

RELATIONSHIP STATUS:  nonexistent

LIVE WITH ANY OTHER PEOPLE OR PETS?  I currently live with my son, my mother and my brother.  I have a cat, Zebra, and a parrot, Captain.  My younger brother has a dog named Otis.

EXPLAIN A BASIC WORK/SCHOOL DAY:
I don't go to school or work, but a basic day for me lately is waking up and having either a Snapple or a cup of coffee and usually some kind of fruit, taking a shower and waiting for my son to want to wake up, and then making him breakfast and eating with him.  After that, we usually hang out for a little bit playing, and then I usually clean a bit.  Then I go get the mail, and play with my son outside for awhile.  When we come back in, we have lunch.  After lunch, we will either read or watch a movie and then its my son's nap time.  While my son is down for his nap, I clean, call on jobs, clean some more, and by the time I actually have a chance to sit and relax, I have to be up and moving in another 15 minutes because that's when my son finishes his nap.  When he wakes up, we play a little more and I either call on some more jobs or go outside with him to do yard work.  Throughout the day my friends randomly stop by and say hi or hangout for a bit.  My younger brother is home sometime in the afternoon.  I have to make sure that I get dinner on to cook before too late.  My mother works two jobs and goes to see her boyfriend after she gets off her second job, so she isn't usually home till way later.  That leaves me to make sure her dinner is served and warm for her when she gets home.  My son's bedtime is around 9-9:30 and his bath time is at 8:30-9, and my little brother is in bed before too long.  I do the remaining dishes, sweep, and vacuum again.  Then I sit and relax, enjoying one of the very few times I get to myself each day.  After my mother gets home and I feed her dinner, she goes up to bed and I put the dishes on to wash and usually a load of clothes as well.  After I am done with that, I go and hang out for a couple or a few hours.  When I get home, I go to bed and wake up in the morning right after my family has walked out the door.  Then I start my basic routine all over again.  Isn't that fun?  I get any where from one and a half hours to seven hours of sleep each day.

ACTIVITIES DURING AN AVERAGE WEEK:  That's basically it above this.  With the exception of running errands during the day and if any grocery shopping needs to be done I'm at the store at around 2am or 4am depending on what has to be done in the morning.  I also go over to peoples' houses and whatnot during the day.  Sometimes, my son and me go to the park or have little play dates with some of my friends and their kids.  It really depends on what there is to do and how the weather is that week.

DESCRIBE YOUR AVERAGE WEEKEND:  I try to get to go do as many things as possible on the weekends because my week is filled with so much repetition and cooking and errands and cleaning and 2 year old antics that by the time the weekend rolls around I need to go out and have fun for a little bit.

WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU COULD DO BUT DO NOT HAVE THE TIME OR MONEY?  I would really like to get a job, but it's hard to find time to even search for jobs when you have a two year old.  I would love to go back to school, but I really don't have the money for that right now.  I would love to be able even just to afford to buy my son more toys and clothes because I've been raising him so ghetto due to the fact that I have next to nothing.  I would love to go down to California and visit my relatives who still have not seen my son.  I really want to go back to Italy and live there for a while, but, again, I don't have the money for that.  But those are just silly fantasies in my mind.  Hell, I know I probably won't get anything even near a vacation for a good few years because it will take me that long to save up the money to go away for a week or so.  Maybe someday soon I will be able to though.  Hopefully I'll find a job with the right hours and pay soon.

ARE YOU HAPPY WITH YOUR JOB/SCHOOLING?  No, I am not happy with my job/schooling because I have neither right now.  Maybe soon I can say otherwise.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT A LUCID DREAM IS?  yes

DO YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF A LUCID DREAMER?  I can a lot of the time grasp hold and control my dreams.  Do what I want to in them.  But it's hard to do it for too long.  It's like using your imagination on a different level and keeping your concentration on that level is difficult.  Does that describe it well enough?

DO YOU EAT BEFORE GOING TO BED?  depends if I'm hungry or not.  Sometimes I eat at random times throughout the night.

DO YOU HAVE A REGULAR SLEEP SCHEDULE?  no, and probably no where near a normal anything

DO YOU DREAM DURING NAPS?  yes

DO YOU SELF-ANALYZE YOUR DREAMS?  sometimes
